MORE than $15 million of stock at Emerald Lakes development The Residences has sold in just two days.
Over the sales-launch weekend, 30 of the 51 luxury hilltop villas across stages one and two sold off the plan.
Developer Urban Construct’s managing director Todd Brown said the market responded with such speed that stage two was release early to meet demand.
“The mix of hilltop setting, product design and the central location within one of the city’s best communities is certainly resonating with buyers,” Mr Brown said.
“When we saw how fast stage one was selling and how much inquiry was focused on stage two, we made the obvious call to respond to the market and release the next stage well ahead of schedule”.
The Residences is a four-stage project within the master-planned Emerald Lakes community. It will contain 122 two-and-three-bedroom villas – a mix of two-and-three-storeys with each featuring a double garage and the majority including private yards.
The project is a joint venture between Urban Construct and Emerald Lakes developer Nifsan.
“Emerald Lakes has clearly emerged as a lifestyle destination,” Mr Brown said.
“Residents have the best of the Gold Coast on their doorstep and a thriving, stylish community hosting popular cafes and gourmet night markets.
“The stellar sales launch of The Residences is further evidence the area is now top of mind for buyers.”
“As a major hub for the 2018 Commonwealth Games, it will only increase in popularity over the next few years.”
The Residences prices start from $449,900. The 210ha Emerald Lakes community features restaurants, medical centre and pharmacy, convenience store, beauty salon, hairdresser and weekly farmers’ markets.
