Spectacular sky homes hit the Gold Coast market

REALESTATE.COM.AU

QUEENSLAND buyers in the market for a luxury penthouse on the Gold Coast are being put on notice to act before the borders reopen.

An all-star line-up of spectacular sky homes has hit the market and while locals have had first option, competition is waiting in the wings.

“Interstate buyers are serious, they’ve got cash and they’re desperate to get over the border and lay eyes on these properties,” said Harcourts Coastal agent Tolemy Stevens. “We’re putting local buyers on notice: the window is fast closing. Once those borders reopen, there will be a spike in transactions.”

24001/21 Elizabeth Ave, Oracle Tower 2, Broadbeach is listed for $4.25 million.

Mr Stevens is marketing the Oracle Tower 2 penthouse in Broadbeach, which offers 567sqm of luxury living across levels 40 and 41.

It’s the first time the designer pad — listed for a negotiable $4.25 million — has been offered since the original owner purchased off the plan in 2008.

A private roof terrace with heated pool and spa offers sky-high entertaining, while floor-to-ceiling glass showcases 360-degree views.

With the owner overseas, Mr Tolemy said the apartment is fetching $13,000 a month in rent.

“It is an opportunity for an astute investor or even someone who wants the option to acquire without moving in right away,” he said.

7/19 Broadbeach Boulevard, Broadbeach is on the market with an asking price of $5.495m.

Also in Broadbeach, the penthouse at 19 Broadbeach Boulevard is up for grabs at $5.495 million. One of only seven residences inside the as-new beachfront building, the opulent 452sqm penthouse offers four bedrooms and bathrooms, entertaining areas, library and wine cellar.

“This is very special — only 18 months old, on the beachfront in Broadbeach, no through road in front and spectacular views up and down the coastline,” Mr Tolemy said.

The Nexus Towers penthouse at 303/105 Scarborough St, Southport goes to auction on June 20 at 1pm.

The penthouse occupying the entire 27th floor of the residential-only Nexus Towers on Scarborough St, Southport is up for auction on Saturday June 20 at 1pm.

The 497sqm single-level apartment has four kingsize bedrooms, terraces on two sides and panoramic views.

“The size, views and exclusivity are the main selling points for this penthouse,” said Ray White’s Sam Guo.

It’s hard to beat the views from the rooftop pool at 93/1-9 Hughes Ave, Main Beach.

Perched atop the Oscar on Main tower in Main Beach, the super spacious 984sqm beachside beauty is marketed by Michael Kollosche as ‘the perfect penthouse’.

Expressions of interest are being sought for the penthouse which has a large rooftop pool and entertaining terrace, a private steam room and coral reef fish tank.
